RESEARCH
Extensive research demonstrating the benefits of mindfulness has been conducted over the past two decades. The UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has recommended mindfulness based therapy since 2004. In 2017 the UK’s National Health Service mandated mindfulness as a treatment that should be available in all primary care health services. Following close on the footsteps of mindfulness is self-compassion, with research in this area increasing considerably in the last ten years. The publications shared in this section are available freely online but are for personal use only. If you would like to view more studies, a quick Google search will lead you to many. Thank you.
